“Photography has been an interest and love that has traveled through generations of my family. I began shooting with an Instamatic camera that was passed down from my grandmother, long before we had the technology of the point-and-shoot. Soon I upgraded to my first point-and-shoot Olympus, found in the trunk of a second-hand car my dad had purchased. My brother’s passion for Nikon cameras led me next to the Nikon N70. I initially felt some resistance towards the digital movement, but eventually eased into the concept and purchased my first digital camera in 2007. I love that with the narrowing, focusing lens of a camera, we see things that we might otherwise miss when taking in the full picture in life.”
